How To Use
- Test and balance your pool water. Ensure pH is between 7.0 and 7.2, and total alkalinity is within the recommended range.01
- Calculate the required amount of Aluminium Sulphate 8% (Liquid) based on your pool's volume. A common dosage is approximately 8.33 pounds (3.78 kg) per 10,000 gallons (37,854 liters) of water.02
- With the pool pump off, set the filter to the 'recirculate' setting to prevent clogging the filter with flocculated particles.03
- Slowly pour the measured Aluminium Sulphate solution evenly around the perimeter of the pool.04
- Run the pool pump on 'recirculate' for 2 hours to evenly distribute the chemical throughout the pool.05
- Turn off the pump and allow the pool water to remain still for 12 to 24 hours, enabling the flocculated particles to settle at the bottom.06
- After the settling period, set the filter to 'waste' and slowly vacuum the settled debris from the bottom of the pool to avoid disturbing the particles.07
- After vacuuming, return the filter to its normal operating setting and resume regular pool circulation.08
- Test the pool water again to ensure chemical levels are within the desired ranges before allowing swimmers to enter.09
