      Product Description

Sodium Bisulphate is a granulated, high-quality pH reducer, specifically designed to lower alkaline water conditions. Overly alkaline water can cause scaling, cloudiness, and reduced chlorine efficiency. Our product works diligently to counteract these issues, promoting clear water and optimal sanitizer effectiveness.

      Please Note

Always ensure you're using personal protective equipment like gloves and goggles when handling pool chemicals to prevent direct contact with skin and eyes.

General Dosing Guideline for Sodium Bisulphate in Swimming Pools

Initial Testing: Use a reliable pool testing kit to determine the current pH level of your pool.

Dosing Recommendation: For a 10,000-litre pool with a pH above 7.6, typically around 100g to 150g of Sodium Bisulphate is recommended to lower the pH by 0.1 units.

For a 50,000-litre pool with the same pH level, you'd need about 500g to 750g to achieve a similar drop in pH.

Gradual Adjustment: It's essential to make adjustments slowly. Don't try to correct the pH all at once. If your pool has a pH of 8.0 and you want to get it to 7.4, adjust it gradually over several days, testing and adding Sodium Bisulphate as needed.

Re-Testing: After adding the Sodium Bisulphate and allowing it to circulate for 4-6 hours, test the pH again. This will help determine if more adjustments are necessary.

Note on Total Alkalinity: Before adjusting pH, it's a good idea to test and adjust the total alkalinity of your pool if necessary. Proper alkalinity levels (usually between 80 and 120 ppm) help stabilize pH and prevent rapid pH fluctuations.
